LEARNING THRU VR

Welcome Back!
This week’s assignment focused on peer-reviewing a classmate’s course that is approximately 75% complete. I’ve received my review and now have a clear roadmap for final revisions before next weekend’s deadline.
In preparation, I’ve developed a Final Course Review Survey for students and am currently building out a few additional quizzes I believe are essential for rounding out the learning experience.
My peers’ feedback offered several insightful suggestions to elevate the course quality. These include:
Enhancing Discussion Depth: Adding guiding questions and real-world field examples to foster deeper engagement and critical thinking.
Rubrics and Feedback: Incorporating clear rubrics for peer reviews, service logs, and reflections to support student performance and self-assessment.
Quiz Improvements: Providing brief explanations for correct and incorrect answers to reinforce learning and retention.
Visuals & Scenario-Based Assessment: Integrating diagrams and schematic snippets into quizzes and assignments to test interpretation skills. Scenario-based questions—especially for diagnostics and troubleshooting—will help simulate authentic problem-solving.
Despite the remaining tasks, I’m confident I’ll complete the course on time. My current focus is on the final stages of the ADDIE model: Implementation and Evaluation. The evaluation component is ready to be embedded into Module 10, and I’m now turning my attention to developing a Job Aid to support instructor onboarding and effective course delivery.
It’s exciting to see the course coming together, and I’m grateful for the constructive feedback that’s helping me refine it into a more engaging and learner-centered experience.
Until next time ....
